Using the shape files published by the Indiana General Assembly for their proposed Congressional, State Senate, and State House maps, I built a tool that allows Hoosiers the first interactive look at potential new electoral maps. Using the built in functionality of Google Maps, voters can now zoom in to the street level to see exactly where the borders of various districts begin and end. As you hover around the map, an info box at the top of the map identifies what district you are looking at, which is useful if you are zoomed in and moving around district lines. Note: In order to make this tool available quickly, it is currently just a beta version that hasn’t been thouroughly tested for bugs.

All three sets of maps can be found at https://www.capitolandwashington.com/beta/proposed-maps/.
